I am writing an email to let you know how wonderful your company is.

I found out about your company through my two neighbors adjacent to me. I only wish I would have known about your company about three weeks ago when our interior wall in the living room was leaking out water. I got “scammed” by a crooked roofing contractor that I found on Angie's List.

I want to inform you that Fontaine Weatherproofing will be the roofer that I call for as long as we own this home. From when I placed the call to Rod Ray, I knew that I was in good hands. I am (and continue to be) wary of contractors now because of the "hack job" done by the "so-called" roofer. But, I am convinced there are good contractors who have solid integrity. Rod gave me a consultation and reassured me that my roof can be fixed.

Yesterday, Rod, Freddie and Miguel came to the home to work; Freddie is such a polite young man. He also does excellent work and has so much integrity (You really don't see that anymore in today's "young" people.) Rod and Freddie showed me exactly what was wrong with the roof. Seeing is believing. It is really important for homeowners to know what they are getting into. The printed pictures are so important. I have a special request: I would like Freddie to do my roof repairs. I understand that I have two other "problem" areas that need to be repaired. Please schedule Freddie for my repair. I will wait until he is available.

Again, I wanted to let you know that your company is wonderful. All my other neighbors know that, too.

Your company just completed a roof replacement project on our community last week

and I have to tell you it was one of the best contractor experiences I have ever had. We even had residents who do not usually show up to our monthly meetings come and express how wonderful the crew was. The home owners described the workers as industrious and polite as they were working on their building. We also had a resident come to the meeting who did not have their roof replaced say that the area where the crew was working was cleaner than when they got there. Thank you for making our jobs as board members easier. Keep up the good work.

I had the opportunity to observe the Fontaine Weatherproofing crew as they repaired the roof leak...

I doubt they were able to see me watching them so I do not think that had any effect on how they approached their job. I found the crew to be efficient, careful and thorough in all phases of removal of the existing materials, inspection of the base roofing to determine point of water entry and their application of materials and replacement of the tiles. They even removed the coping at the edge of the roof and carefully replaced and sealed it. The crew also seemed to take their work seriously, worked continuously, and did not spend a lot of time in horseplay and socializing as I have seen from other roofing crews. I think they have been they have been a good choice as the vendor to meet our roofing maintenance and repair needs.

Fontaine Weatherproofing does a great job working with residents,

providing quality work in a timely matter and documenting the before & after condition of the areas repaired. My life as a Property Manager would be much easier if all contractors I work with could provide the level of service that Fontaine delivers.

I would suggest to all Board members wondering about the condition or need for repairs of their community's roofs to invite Patrick Binder of Fontaine Weatherproofing to their next meeting. Patrick gives a very informative presentation detailing the condition of the roofs, provides pictures of existing conditions and answers questions in a way that Board members, that are usually not contractors, can understand.

for the excellent work that was done on our flat garage roof by the folks at Fontaine Weatherproofing, Inc. I found your crew to be fantastic to work with and surprisingly cheerful despite the back-breaking labor required by the roof repairs on our unit. One gentleman in particular - Luis - was always extremely professional in his demeanor and approach to the job. During and at the end of each day, he would always keep me well informed of their timeline and the progress of the project as well as any issues he and his crew discovered.

As our complex is currently undergoing a complex-wide painting project and our unit was recently painted - I was a little more than concerned about damage to the stucco, wood work and other items that had been painted. Some of the roof repairs required the removal or temporary relocation of recently painted flashing. Luis assured me that they would repaint everything they touched and per his word - everything was repainted like new. I am very impressed with the foreman, Juan Gonzalez.

He came into the office to quickly review his work schedule and areas of focus. I mentioned to him I have a resident that would ask if his building could be completed first.

They made that accommodation. Throughout the day, the workers were efficient, safety conscious, and very respectful of the property. They kept walk-ways accessible, with red cones around ladders.

In addition, residents asked them to check their roofs. They did find areas that needed attention, and they took care of those too. Juan checked in with me at 11: 30 for my lunch schedule and reaffirmed he was on schedule. He stated his crew is going to take a lunch break and then would complete "L" Building.
